Millpond is a town I'm building one chapter at a time on a workbench in Lake City, Michigan. Twice a month your neighbours write to you there — a letter with your name on it, the town's paperwork, a page from Martha Pryce's daybook, and a small plan for something to build. Twenty-four mailings across a year, ending with a ballot to name the town.
