The Village Tackle Shop is an old-town storefront with a tall false front, scored clapboard siding, two six-pane display windows and a half-glass door. A covered porch runs across the front: a tin awning on four posts over a plank deck, with a bench under the window and a rod rack holding four laser-cut fishing rods. A cut-out VILLAGE TACKLE SHOP sign goes across the false front, with a LIVE BAIT sign to go with it. Glue-on casings, sills, corner boards and a one-piece cornice give the walls real depth. The walls lock into the base with tabs and slots, the corners join with box fingers, and a hidden truss carries the roof.
