The Storybook Cottage is a tall, steep-roofed cottage with lap siding, an arched plank door with a round window, a gable dormer and a stone chimney on the roof, a lean-to wing on the side and a little front porch with a baluster railing and stacked steps. A hidden truss carries the main roof, and the walls, wing, posts and railing lock into the base with tabs and slots, so it goes together square without clamps. The white window and door trim is cut in one piece per opening, with the sill, head and cap scored in.

You'll need

• A laser cutter with at least a 10 x 10 in work area
• 2.7 mm, 3 mm or 4 mm plywood
• Wood glue, fine sandpaper, acrylic paints
• Optional: a battery LED tea light (never a real flame)

Black = cut, blue = score. Part labels are single-line lettering on the score layer, so they mark in the same quick pass - no engraving.
