The Stone Farmhouse is a Pennsylvania-style fieldstone colonial: a two-story side-gable house with random coursed stone scored into every wall, a centre front cross-gable with a round-top attic window, two brick chimneys, a lower side-gable wing on the right, a pedimented entry porch on four fluted columns and a shed porch along the left of the front. Wood-shingle courses are scored into every roof. The walls, truss, columns and posts lock into the base with tabs and slots, so it goes together square without clamps. Each window's trim is one glue-on piece: casing, sill, head and both shutters cut together, with the joints and shutter louvers scored in.
