A little board-and-batten coop with a shingled roof, a tiny CLUCKING PALACE sign and an arched door sits on a plank base, with a short ramp up to the pop hole and a picket run holding three chickens on slotted stands. At about 1:48 it sits beside the Village Tackle Crafts village buildings. Every structural piece locks in with tabs, so nothing needs holding while glue sets.

What's in the box

20 laser-cut 2.7 mm plywood pieces in 3 numbered bags, matched to the booklet steps

Instruction booklet with illustrated assembly steps

Actual-size parts finder: lay a piece on its outline to find its name

Finished size

Base: 104 x 72 mm (4.1 x 2.8 in)

Coop: 59 mm to the ridge

Scale: about 1:48

You'll need

Wood glue - a small drop in each joint makes it permanent; the door and sign glue on flat

Fine sandpaper for the tiny tab nubs

Optional: acrylic paints (the booklet lists Apple Barrel colors)

Good to know

Limited quantity - made in small bench batches

A craft and model kit for teens and adults.
